Four Photos for Film and All Their Grainy Awesomeness

Looking through the eyes of my Nikon FG SLR and a 50mm lens take a look at mother nature and her various textures and shades of gray in these black and white landscapes.

1 / Taking a close look at some handsome blades of grass through the eyes of my Nikon FG 50mm lens. What strikes me most with this photo outside the thorny pattern is the contrast between the green (dark) and white in the blades.

2 / It was peak sunshine when shot this photo of Horseshoe Bend in middle of a June day and the grain produced with the Ilford 400 is something that just can't be created digitally.

3 / The hike up to Dry Pond in Reno, Nevada is 3 mile, twisty switch back full of valley views until you reach the top and are greeted by one of the best views of Slide Mountain (Mt. Rose Ski Resort side) and sometimes a pond, and sometimes not.

4 / Just off Sierra College Blvd, in Rocklin, California on the back road to Lincoln I discovered "My Oak" where is sits alone overlooking the Sacramento valley.
